Eco-Friendly Fabric Bowl Covers

Three ~ Pack of Shabby Chic Country Cottage Style Fabric Eco – Friendly Bowl Covers in Red Gingham

Perfect for catering, picnics, parties and bbq’s, this economically friendly pretty cotton bowl lid eliminates the need for foil wrap or clingfilm and is a far more attractive way of keeping flies off your salad or proving your dough. Made from adorable red gingham for a shabby chic country cottage feel and lined in cream polka dot cotton.

The price shown above is for a pack of three bowl covers, in three sizes, small, medium and large.

The small cover fits a standard cereal size bowl measuring approx 5.5″ (12.5cm), the medium is measured to fit approx 9″ (22.5cm) bowls and the large cover will fit a bowl approximately 11″ (28cm). They are elasticated so there is a small amount of room for manoeuvre. To measure your bowls to ensure a correct fit, measure as shown in the diagram:

Please Note: These are not intended for long-term storage and care should be taken to keep containers upright as the covers do not create an air-tight seal.

Machine washable on a cool wash, iron with a damp tea towel on top.

All our items are gift wrapped for free ~ Each item is carefully  gift wrapped in colourful tissue paper, tied with parcel string and topped with a beautiful  hand written Lily P Chic tag. Each parcel will then be sealed in a plastic bag to prevent any water damage that may occur and finally wrapped in heavy duty brown paper parcel wrap for postage. If you are buying this item as a gift for someone and would like the gift wrapping items kept separate so that you are at liberty to view the piece and then wrap yourself please add a note to your order.

Clear Out Time!

It’s that time again when I realised dispite being overflowing with clothes, theres nothing in my baby girls draws that seems to fit her. She’s only gone and grown again! So, I have a good sort out and invested in some nice new summer clothes for her first birthday.

Yesterday evening I turned this lovely pile of old clothes…

Into this!

With nothing but a stitch picker and a pair of scissors…

I couldn’t believe how much ‘d salvaged. I have zippers, buttons, elastic, sequins, pockets, buckles, poppers, bias tape, ribbon and all this wonderful fabric which I’m sure I’ll do something interesting with when the fancy takes me.

I have plenty of birthday presents to wrap over the next few days so I may end up using some of it for beautiful and eco-friendly gift wrap:

Recycling is so satisfying…
